Peer-to-peer communication, effective slides preparation, preparing for a media interview, defining target audiences, and storytelling techniques: these are some of the modules designed for researchers who want to develop modern and original communication skills to communicate their research in a consistently effective way.

Courses are offered in science journalism, multimedia production, risk communication, managing controversial issues, communicating with policy makers, and more. Some courses may be part of continuous training for journalists.

From the pedagogical context of informal learning to techniques for developing computational thinking and the use of coding. From new frontiers in the use of artificial intelligence in education to the use of discussion games to facilitate dialogue on controversial issues. The complete training offer for teachers can be found in the Schools section of this website.

Within these types of courses there are modules through which it is possible to acquire skills for facilitating face-to-face interactions, designing teaching activities related to informal learning, planning a proper evaluation of science communication activities, designing science-themed exhibits and organising events open to the public.

Tailor-made training paths built around business needs and tailored to participants. Basic science communication courses or advanced courses are offered. For more information you can contact info@masterclasses.sissa.it
