Open the call for THE poster session
The poster session will be held in Milan, at the Ecsite Annual Conference, 4-6 June 2009.
Explainers in science centres needs to interact with very inhomogeneous groups. Our public is very different in terms of values, beliefs, origins, cultural level, age, gender or simply motivations for visiting. How to deal with such diversities in face to face interactions?
THE poster session is this year aimed at presenting and then discussing experiences and strategies to tackle these issues. It will draw on the results of THE group preconference. Posters will have a pre-defined structure, in order to facilitate the discussion. We encourage anyone interested to submit a poster: see THE group website (medialab.sissa.it/THE) or contact the convenor for details.
